- 1Open the Service-Public F1169 card and select your rooms only in the four official categories. The list is exhaustive: the lessor cannot invent a new category of document.
- 2For identity, provide only one authorized document with photo, e.g. passport, identity card or residence permit. A separate portrait photograph is not required.
- 3For home, activity and resources, use only the supporting documents corresponding to your situation. A foreign document may be accompanied by a French translation and the amounts converted into euros.
- 4The income criterion close to three rents is a frequent practice of lenders or insurers, but it is not a universal legal rule. Check the advert and accepted warranties.
- 5Create the folder with the free public service FolderFacile: it controls the completeness, adds watermarks and provides a secure link to the owner.
- 6Do not pay any money to reserve the accommodation before signing the lease. The lessor cannot require money to block the property before the contract.
- 7If an unauthorized exhibit is requested, ask for the basis in writing and contact ADIL. An administrative fine is provided in the event of a prohibited application.
