Step-by-step procedure
Section actions
- 1Check the school or the area college according to your address. It's the school card. This can be confirmed by the city hall or the academy's website.
- 2Place the documents in town hall for the elementary school. For the college, the procedure often goes through the Dasen or the guidance service.
- 3Retrieve the registration certificate and then complete the registration in the institution. It's often quick once the pieces are assembled.
- 4If your child doesn't speak French yet, ask UPE2A right away. That's what helps the most at first.
- 5If you enter the college, find out about the European sections, the balance sheets and the Latin/Greek options. Do it before you validate the registration.
- 6Also ask for the canteen and the extracurricular. For the private sector, check the scholarships and the price before going further.
