Minimum income of independent deliverers: increase to €19 per hour

The guaranteed minimum income of independent delivery agents working through a delivery platform increases from €11.75 to €19 per hour of activity. The supplement is now calculated over one week instead of the month, and the platform must pay it no later than 7 days after the end of the week concerned.

From news to action

Who is concerned

The new guarantee applies to all platforms and independent delivery providers, regardless of their status: self-entrepreneur or sole proprietorship.

What to do

If you are an independent deliverer on a platform, check your weekly payments by comparing the week's income to a minimum of €19 per hour of activity. If the supplement is not paid within 7 days of the end of the week, contact the platform to ask for explanations. This is counsel: the source does not describe a specific appeal procedure.

When to act

The platform must pay the supplement no later than 7 days after the end of the week concerned (week counted from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59). The source does not specify a separate time limit for action at the initiative of the delivery provider.

Background

On 10 July 2026, an amendment to the collective agreement of 20 April 2023 was signed by the self-employed representative organisations and the Association of Self-Employed Platforms (API). This amendment was approved by 2 decrees on 12 and 26 September 2026, and has since been applicable.

Why it's important

Up to now, the guarantee was €11.75 per hour of activity with a monthly calculation, which could make income irregular. The new guarantee, raised to €19 per hour, calculated on a weekly basis, better corresponds to the real rate of activity and ensures a predictable and regular income.

What Changes

The minimum guaranteed hourly wage increases from 11.75 € to 19 € per hour of activity. The guarantee is now calculated on a weekly basis (from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59) and no longer on a monthly basis. If the income paid by the platform on the week does not reach the minimum, the platform must pay a supplement no later than 7 days after the end of that week.
