Background
The competition is part of the "All and all equals" plan, which makes support for women who are taking on a key role in the Government's work. According to the French Entrepreneurial Index 2025, nearly 8 million French women maintain a link with entrepreneurship, but the desire to undertake remains hampered by financial constraints, work-life balance and administrative complexity.
Why it's important
The State and Bpifrance have been supporting women's entrepreneurship since 2012, notably through the Regional Action Plans. Highlighting the courses of laureates in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes allows the inhabitants who hesitate to start to discover the concrete accompaniments available near their home.
What Changes
In 2026, 12 women entrepreneurs in the region were rewarded for their journey and project; a collection of their portraits was published.
