Step-by-step procedure
Section actions
- 1In a medical emergency, first call the 15 (SAMU) or the 112 — they assess the need for emergencies and direct you.
- 2Find the on-call pharmacy: on 3237.fr (national service), on the town hall website, on Google Maps (an "open" filter), or via the posters of the usual pharmacies (a list of shopkeepers).
- 3Call the 3237 (paying call) or visit the site — the nearest on-call pharmacies display with schedule and address.
- 4Present yourself with prescription (if you have one) and Vitale Card. The on-call pharmacy works with the usual CPAM/mutual refunds, paying third party available.
- 5Daycare supplement: low (some euros) for daycare — sometimes added to the price, reimbursed by the CPAM (if registered).
- 6For background medicines: it is better to anticipate so as not to depend on custody. If you have a prescription, the doctor may extend it.
- 7In small municipalities, fewer pharmacies — they can operate on a rolling basis, check in advance.
- 8Online Pharmacies: for non-emergency drugs, but they don't work at night.
